KeyTalk expands internationally with clients and partners
15 Feb ‘22

The start of the year has been good, with several new clients and partners in multiple countries. Since the start of the year we have, for example, welcomed:

  • Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA), the world’s leading producer of ‘premium aluminium’ and the biggest industrial company in the United Arab Emirates outside of the oil and gas industry. EGA uses the KeyTalk CKMS to manage all internal non-public SSL/TLS certificates, and for the public certificates of DigiCert. EGA was brought in as a KeyTalk client by Wavepac Infosystems LLC from Dubai, our first partner in that region.
  • IS – Industry Solutions, a.s. from Slovakia, emerged in 2013 from a privatised Siemens Business Unit. For this client, a wide range of SSL/TLS, internal authentication certificates and digital email (S/MIME) certificates are managed by the KeyTalk CKMS. This client has been brought in for KeyTalk by our new partner ZONER Software. Zoner is the largest reseller of certificates in Europe, a world leader in Cyber Security and an excellent Internet Service Provider.
  • Monotek, from Slovenia, is a very innovative IT company that uses our Secure Email Service for the automated request, deployment and management of DigiCert class 2 email certificates. This client has come in through our American/European partner SSL Store. SSL Store is the world’s largest distributor of certificates, and they provide their services to clients in over 150 countries.

New developments of the KeyTalk software

In order to successfully support these new clients, the development of our software obviously never stops. The following functionalities have recently been added:

  • Support of the Mobile Device Management (MDM) platform by VMware, WorkSpace ONE/ Airwatch. Besides the existing integrations with MS Intune and Mobilelron, this integration is used for the distribution of internal authentication certificates to mobile devices, as well as the distribution of personal email certificates (S/MIME) to various user devices.
  • MS Intune integration and certification based on SCEP. KeyTalk was already one of the few in the world to have realised a complete integration with MS Intune, based on PKCS. Now, SCEP has been added as a second protocol.
  • On request of several clients, we have developed a completely new reporting module that facilitates customer-specific and easy-to-use overviews and dashboards. This module will be launched in February.
  • Finally, and not without importance, we provide a full Cloud version of the KeyTalk CKMS as of today. This means that automated PKI management is also accessible to medium-sized and small organisations and companies, who no longer have their own IT management with enough PKI-related knowledge to manage a CKMS themselves. The client only needs the KeyTalk agents, comparable with ACME clients and available for Windows, OS X, Linux (various versions), Android & iOS.
