Windows 10 end of support (EOS) and implications for KeyTalk customers
Microsoft has announced that support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025. After that date, Microsoft will no longer provide regular technical assistance, feature updates, or security updates for Windows 10.
End of life details
What does this mean for KeyTalk customers?
KeyTalk will not provide technical support, patches, or compatibility testing for KeyTalk Windows Agents on Windows 10 releases that are released after October 14, 2025.
KeyTalk customers should upgrade desktop PCs running Windows 10 to a supported Windows version to continue receiving updates and technical support for new KeyTalk Windows Agents.
What about ESU?
Although Microsoft offers an Extended Security Updates (ESU) program, KeyTalk is not affiliated with ESU and cannot provide continued support for KeyTalk Windows Agents on Windows 10 after October 14, 2025.
Remaining on Windows 10 after the end-of-support date increases exposure to malware and other security risks because updates will no longer be provided.
